Description

The particle counter uses the light obscuration principle, in which the liquid to be tested is passed through a basin containing a laser and a calibrated sensor. The particles in the liquid cast a shadow on the sensor, which determines the area, diameter and number of particles in the sample. The particle counter is controlled by icons or a virtual keyboard on the touch screen. The results are displayed in real time and simultaneously printed on the integrated printer. The integrated test methods cover a range of fuels, lubricating oils and hydraulic fluids. Results can be retrieved, printed or downloaded to a USB stick or PC. The instrument can also be controlled via an RJ45 Ethernet interface.
