Description
A test ball is attached to a fixture and rotated against three permanently installed balls in a container containing lubricant. The digital speed controller has three factory pre-programmed settings. The load cell is adjustable in the range of 40 to 800kgF, and the applied load is shown on a digital display. The transmitted torque between the rotating and fixed balls is measured and displayed. The digital timer can be used to set the duration of the test. If the torque exceeds a preset value during a test or the balls wear out, the drive motor is automatically switched off.
