Description

Measuring system for determination the bulk density of free flow powder or granulate. The test can provide a gross measure of particle size and dispersion which can affect material flow consistency and reflect packaging quantity. 3 devices are available.

Method A
  • Used for fine granular material
  • V shaped measuring funnel
  • Capacity of the measuring cup 100 cm³
  • Stand with funnel shut off
Method B
  • Used for more coarse granular material than in method A
  • V shaped measuring funnel
  • Capacity of the measuring cup 400 cm³

  • Used or flakes, strands, chips and cut fibres
