Description

The tester consists of a precision polished, hard chrome plated measuring plate for applying the specimens. A temperature controller ensures optimum temperature control of the preset temperature setpoints. The setpoints are adjusted variably with a maximum gradient of 100° (MFFT 10: with a maximum gradient of 20°). To determine the MFFT, 20 Pt-100 temperature sensors are integrated in the measuring plate. (MFFT 10 : 10 Pt-100 sensors). The digital temperature display shows the measured values with a 0.1K resolution. The flat cover made of Plexiglas with an optimized flow guidance of the dry air/nitrogen shortens the drying time of the applied film by up to 30 % (depending on the temperature and the applied film thickness).
